Harpenden is a mainly residential town in north Hertfordshire midway between the Roman city of St. Albans and Luton in neighbouring Bedfordshire.

We are a traditional building society and have built our reputation on being able to offer a range of uncomplicated savings accounts as well as "tailor made" mortgage products to suit the individual needs of our borrowers.

The Society celebrated its golden jubilee in 2003 and although we are one of the youngest building societies we have grown rapidly and now have assets in excess of £158 million.
