Harpenden Building Society is covered by the Financial Service Compensation Scheme (FSCS). Providing the eligibility criteria is met (details of exclusions can be found at www.fscs.org.uk and on the FSCS Exclusions List provided) eligible deposits with the Society are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the FSCS, the UK’s deposit protection scheme. Any deposits held above the £85,000 limit are not covered.
