Annual General Meeting

This year’s AGM will be held at Rothamsted Conference  Centre, Rothamsted Enterprises, West Common,        Harpenden, on Friday 24th April 2026 at 1.30pm.

Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Friday April 24th

This year’s AGM will be held at Rothamsted Conference Centre, Rothamsted Enterprises, West Common, Harpenden, Hertfordshire AL5 2JQ on Friday 24th April 2026 at 1.30pm.

Members unable to attend in person will also be able to view the proceedings online and will be able to ask questions of the Board in advance of the AGM.

Details of how to do this are set out in the Notice of AGM.

Note to members attending in person:
Please ensure you bring with you on the day the Notice of Annual General Meeting.

The meeting is for the following purposes:

Ordinary Resolutions

  1. To receive the Directors’ Report, the Annual Accounts, the Annual Business Statement and the Auditors’ Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2025.
  2. To approve the Directors’ Remuneration Report for the financial year ended 31 December 2025.
  3. To approve the re-appointment of Forvis Mazars LLP as auditors of the Society to hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting.

 Resolutions for Election of Directors

  1. To elect or re-elect the following directors –
    (i)            To elect Trevor Barratt
    (ii)           To re-elect Lesley Beecher
    (iii)         To re-elect Nigel Boothroyd
    (iv)          To re-elect David Green
    (v)           To re-elect Tracie Meadows
    (vi)          To re-elect Mark Willis.

[Please note that the resolution to re-elect Mark Williams as a director as set out in the Notice of AGM has been withdrawn owing to his recent resignation from the Society. All other resolutions are unaffected, and any proxy votes already cast on the remaining resolutions still stand.]

If you are eligible to vote, you will be able to do so by logging onto the website www.cesvotes.com/harpendenbs26 and following the instructions or by returning the postal voting proxy form. The deadline for postal or online votes is 1.30pm on 22nd April 2026.

We will publish the voting results received by post, online and at the meeting as usual on our website shortly after the AGM together with questions received and relevant responses.
