Mortgage Tariff of Charges
We are closely involved in the mortgage industry’s initiative with UK Finance and Which? to make our fees and charges easy for you to understand.
Our tariff of charges fully reflects the initiative’s good practice principles. These principles are being used across the industry to help customers compare mortgages. When looking at the fees that other firms charge, you may notice some that don’t appear in our tariff. This means we don’t charge you these fees.

Valuation Fee
We will require a valuation to be carried out on the proposed security to assess adequacy of the proposed security for mortgage purposes. This valuation is paid for by the applicants to the Society on application and is non-refundable once the valuation has been carried out.
As this report is for the sole use of the Society to make a lending decision, it is not shared with applicants, their broker or conveyancers.
We strongly recommend applicants obtain their own detailed survey from an independent qualified surveyor.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
If you fail to keep up with payments on your mortgage a ‘Receiver of Rent’ may be appointed and your rental property, or other property used as security, may be repossessed.
