The Perfect Day Out

Identification

We do need to get to know you, especially when opening a savings account or applying for a mortgage, so we’ve just included some helpful information for you.

Getting to know you…

Here’s a breakdown of what we might need from you at times to aid us with identification….

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

If you fail to keep up with payments on your mortgage a ‘Receiver of Rent’ may be appointed and your rental property, or other property used as security, may be repossessed.

As part of our customer verification process, all new customers are required to provide two forms of identification.

We will also carry out an electronic identification check through a Credit Reference Agency, which compares your details against a number of trusted databases. This is not a credit search and will only record that an identity check has been completed.

If you are an existing customer and we are unable to verify your identity and address through the electronic identification check, we will require documentary proof of identity and address. Details of the acceptable documents are outlined in Section 2.
