Getting to know you

We are required by law to verify the name and address of new and, in some cases, existing Members wishing to open a savings account or apply for a mortgage. This helps to protect our Members against fraud and identity theft.

To do this we use a combination of electronic identification and documentary evidence to verify your identity. Further details of this process can be found in the download.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

If you fail to keep up with payments on your mortgage a 'Receiver of Rent' may be appointed and your rental property, or other property used as security, may be repossessed.
