Submitting with Harpenden

You can submit a full mortgage application, along with any supporting documents through our Broker Portal.

Using the Portal, you can:

  • Register as an intermediary
  • Complete and submit a full mortgage application and upload supporting documents
  • Provide any extra documents or information our mortgage team requests after the initial assessment

Before submitting a full application, please make sure you’ve spoken with our Business Development Team and received an Agreement in Principle.

Please note: our Online Application Portal is for new mortgage applications only. If your client wants to increase the amount of their existing mortgage with us (and isn’t changing property), please complete our Additional Borrowing form and email to newbusiness@harpendenbs.co.uk.

Tips for submitting with us

1. Check you are on our panel

We operate a restricted panel. If your firm isn’t on it, you’ll need to meet our due‑diligence requirements before joining.
To be added, please contact our Broker Team. You can view our panel in the
Mortgage Club and Network PDF.

2. Check the case fits

Use our Residential Criteria Search or BTL Criteria Search and our Affordability Calculator before calling your BDM. We recommend getting an Agreement in Principle from us before you submit the application.

3. Submit the application

You can submit a full mortgage application and upload all supporting documents through our Portal. Just click the ‘Submit a Case’ button below.

 4. Upload the supporting documentation

Please upload all standard supporting documents with the application. Our Packaging Guide will tell you exactly what you need to include.

5. Paying application fees (when required)

If an upfront fee is needed, we’ll email you with details on how to make payment. Applications won’t be processed until the fee has been paid.
